STATE v. GS

The Charge:

3rd Degree felony count of fleeing to elude a law enforcement officer

The Result:

Pre-Trial Diversion

Client charged with a third degree felony count of fleeing to elude a law enforcement officer.  Client was clocked on his motorcycle at 94/45 zone and subsequently pursued by a sheriff’s deputy.  Client was witnessed driving down several roads, ultimately coming to a stop on a gravel road near his home.  Attorney was hired on the case and within 3 weeks of hire, negotiated with the State to allow his client to perform Pre-Trial Diversion.  Fleeing to Elude carries with it a mandatory driver’s license suspension.  If Pre-Trial Diversion is completed, client’s case will be dropped and he will not lose his driving privilege.
